Refund policy

Scope

We accept returns or exchanges for defective items, and we also accept change-of-mind (non-defective) returns under the conditions below. Reasons such as preference, fit, or color choice are treated as non-defective returns.

Return window

You may request a return within fourteen calendar days of delivery.
For defects, please report the issue as soon as possible, ideally within seven days, so we can assist promptly.

How to start a return — RMA required

Email sanhodam@thekoreanstyle.com with

• your order number,
• a brief description of the issue or reason, and
• clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label.

We will reply with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), the return address, and packing instructions.
Do not ship any return before approval. Unapproved returns may be refused or returned to sender.

Return method, postage, and labels

• Returns are sent by mail. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt. Cash-on-delivery parcels are not accepted.

• Returns must be sent via an international air mail courier service available in your country, such as DHL, EMS, UPS, or an equivalent tracked service.

• Non-defective returns: Return postage is the customer’s responsibility. You arrange and pay your carrier directly.

• Defective or incorrect items: We cover the return postage or provide a prepaid label and may offer an exchange or a refund.

• The return label showing your RMA number must be affixed to the outer package. Parcels without the RMA on the label may be delayed or refused.

• Please include a printed copy of the return label with the RMA number inside the parcel to help our warehouse match your return quickly.

Eligibility and item condition

Items must be unused and unworn, in substantially the same condition as received, with tags where applicable, and include all accessories and freebies. Please keep the original packaging when reasonably possible to protect the item in transit.
If inspection shows the issue is not a defect—for example, wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage—the return may be denied and the item returned at your expense.

Exchanges

If the same item is in stock, we can process a like-for-like exchange. Otherwise, a refund will be issued per this policy.

Damages and incorrect items

Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us immediately if it is defective, damaged in transit, or the wrong item, so we can evaluate and make it right. (Delivery delays are not considered damage.)

Items not eligible for return

• Opened sealed-hygiene items or consumables that cannot be restocked for health or safety reasons
• Custom-made or personalized products
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
• Gift cards
  Local law may provide additional exceptions.

Original shipping, duties, and taxes

Original shipping fees are not refundable unless required by local law. For international orders, duties or taxes paid to local authorities are generally not refundable by us; where reclaim is available, please contact your local customs or tax office.

EU right of withdrawal

For orders delivered within the European Union, consumers have a statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal. Non-defective returns under this right follow the rules above: items must be resale-ready and return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Defective or incorrect items remain our responsibility.

Refunds

After your return arrives, we typically complete inspection within three business days and notify you of approval. If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within fifteen business days. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the credit.
